About UsThe Transboundary Joint Secretariat (TJS) for the Southern Caucasus facilitates cooperation in the field of nature protection between the three Southern Caucasus Countries - Armenia, Georgia and Azerbaijan - in the framework of the German Government's Caucasus Initiative. Funding for TJS activities is provided by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) via KfW Development Bank. IMPORTANT INFORMATION The TJS has been operating since February 2007. A second phase will start in or around June 2010. The contract for implementing the second phase is currently being tendered.
